Angel this was the hardest bracket I've done yet. Some of these match ups are just unbelievable and the if you look at some of the 2nd round potential matches is just great.
So glad to see Harold and Maude! I totally forgot about that one. I had a hard time choosing between a lot of these. Nice (though complicated pairings). Really, do I have to choose between the Dude and my favorite Thai warrior? Really? So cruel Roger. So cruel.
I loved all of these matchups, especially that you have some great movies on here. My call for final Four? Silence of The Lambs (notice that 100% lead), The Princess Bride, Star Wars, and Raiders.
it's a shame The Legend of Drunken Master is up against the Wizard of Oz. I'd have liked to see it move on. excellent prospects for round 2 as well. this might be the best bracket yet, yo.
I love Groundhog Day and can watch it over and over and over and over and... well, you get the picture... I did once in 2000 - anyway, Amelie is my absolute favourite movie and I've loved Audrey Tatou in everything I've seen her in since... I refused to watch the movie she was in with Tom Hanks... Vote Amelie!

In a large bowl, combine the flour and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Set aside 1-1/4 cups for topping. To the remaining mixture, add cocoa, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, salt and cloves; mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Make a well in the center; pour in buttermilk and stir just until moistened.
Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
The Goonies v. Breakfast Club or Shawshank v. Pretty in Pink = unbearable matchups. Which one do I pick???
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how these matchups will play out over the course of today.
